Light over Darkness

Imagine that you are in a dark room, you cannot see where you are or where you are going, but suddenly you see a spark, a spark of light, a light that you see from afar, but even though you’re struggling to get there you are determined to go the distance, then you make that light bigger completely overpowering the darkness and affecting everyone around you to have the same amount of light that you possess.

Each year there are approximately 20 typhoons that hit the Philippines some of which are stronger than others. During these times Filipinos are left puzzled as they grow sad over the thought of what is being lost or what they will lose after the storm. But we Filipinos are more than that; we know how to stand after every storm. Countless of times we have proven ourselves to be strong, especially when we were hurt by the super Typhoon Yolanda and because we survived one of the strongest Typhoons we were said to be one of the strongest countries.

Because of this Philippines was known, there have been so many features of the Filipino men smiling as they drink alcohol above a rising flood. Kids swim in this but you don’t see them complaining you see them enjoying themselves and that's when the phrase "bagyo ka lang, Pilipino kami" was born. It’s because even though life wants to dump us into the dirt we rise up knowing that every time life dumps us we outnumber it by the number of times we rise up. We know the definition of the saying." After every storm comes a rainbow." This is what drives Filipinos to be what they are right now.
.

Filipinos are known for their resiliency and will power. And because of this they know what to do in that situation, no matter how much hope is lost, no matter how many times it happens, no matter how much light is lost, they will not be taken away by the storm, they will not lose hope because of a problem that they've already experienced. And after every darkness that comes together they will rise and together they will bring back the light
